I cannot believe the amount of negative comments here. I watched the video, I got the book, I bought the supplements in bulk (so now I do have and will make sure I keep a stock of.. BCAA’s in my cupboard!). 3 weeks later, 7 pounds of lean muscle heavier and I’m loving this shit!! Thanks Jeff, you the man!

On a sidenote, anyone in the UK taking potassium bicarb in your workout drink? How can I get a hold of that stuff????

cwebb07 said in June 11th, 2009 at 10:38 pm

why would anybody think this guy knows what he’s doing..think about it for a minute..he wants you to take a shit load of caffeine..not only that but he also wants you to take “fat burning fat”..how dumb can you possibly be..how the hell do you expect burn fat by increasing your fat intake?? also does this guy look all that in shape or ripped or cut…no, he doesn’t..as far as spplements go just experiment a bit and take note of what works for your individual body rather than somebody elses

I have been a bodybuilder for over three years now and I can say increasing your intake of monounsaturated fats and omega-3 fats can help burn fat. Also 100-300 mg of caffeine two times a day is recommended because it provides energy for the gym and it helps burn fat (increases metabolic rate and is also a type of diuretic). He is completely right. Research your facts before criticizing someone, please.

Be careful about taking BCAA’s for too long a period. Cycle them.

AKLEric said in June 29th, 2009 at 9:55 pm

has anyone tired this? i’d like to know if it works and if all that other stuff really helps or if it is just all the caffeine

akcampbell said in July 7th, 2009 at 3:08 pm

glycine…he means glutamine i think because he said the simplest form amino acid. glutamine is the monomer for all BCAA’s

i agree with you on all points except the ‘fat burning fat’ bit.. he’ correct on that one.. a popular oil in that case is flax seed oil.. but the caffeine part in particular has me scared shitless.

This is a good video for those who want to save money. I think you will not like my video since I have not taken any supplements in over 30 years, I also only train an hour a week. Plus I have poor genetics for building muscle. I warn you: you may not like what you see!

I agree with everythign however is that much caffeine safe?

SupplementOne said in August 16th, 2009 at 2:38 pm

How does this all work out to $15 for 30 servings? Even for economical brands its coming out to much more than 50 cents per servings. I’m not opposed to the concept of what you are doing (except for than MCT Oil) I just don’t think it is more economical.

2 amino acid pills
2 glutamine pills
1 teaspoon mono ceatine
1 12 oz gatorade
is all I need for a 1 1/2 hr workout
with energy afterwards.

“good ol’ creatine monohydrate”
maybe back 20 years ago grandpa. Times have changed, if you don’t have to look like a bloated oaf with no definition, why do so?

go with purified creatine ethyl ester, malate, alpha keto gluterate etc, you’ll thank yourself later.

Great info and I researched the science side of your homemade supplements and happy to report it’s all good. What a cost-saving concept.
