You cant train the middle or the upper or the lower of your chest, the pectoralis major or chest muscle is one muscle and you cant train one muscle in different areas

according to bodybuildingdotcom the close grip bench press, if done in strict form with a squeeze at the top of the rep works your inner chest

lol wow you obviously don’t work out. if youve ever been to the gym youd realize WHY they have incline, decline and flat bench presses. and they even clearly state on the machines they either work upper chest middle chest or lower chest including inner and outter chest when your doing flies.

yes you can, Yes i know technically there is no inner and outer chest, there is only a upper and lower. but it is still possible to target the inner part of the chest by ripping my muscle fibres towards the middle part of the chest rather than the outer. There are many chest excercises that focus on the inner part of the chest. Phill Heath a IFFB pro BB who will probalyl be in the 2010 olympia stats that cable cross overs and hammer strength machine aply more stress to the inner chest..

he´s doing them aaall wrong. He should stretch more in the upper position, that would shredd his muscles and give more room for fibres to grow wich would make his chest wider and more proportional
